Description |
On the day that WW1 conscription was introduced, early in 1916, Farnhill Parish Council created a Roll of Honour - naming the men from the village who were already serving with the armed forces. This list contained 68 names these were the Farnhill WW1 Volunteers. Our project will, in conjunction with the Farnhill and Kildwick Local History Group, research the lives of these men: before, during, and after the war to produce short biographies and to make this biographical information widely... |
